Who I Am
My name is Craig Russack, and I’m a retired Major Case Detective who dedicated my career to protecting communities and taking dangerous criminals off the streets. While I was forced into retirement due to an injury sustained in the line of duty, my call to service has never ended. Now, I am running to serve my Mount Pleasant neighbors on Town Council.
My wife and I are raising our three children in Carolina Park. With kids at Wando High, Cario Middle, and Carolina Park Elementary – we have deep roots and a real stake in Mount Pleasant’s future.
WHY I'M RUNNING
I am running for Town Council because I believe our community has been underrepresented.
Growth has outpaced infrastructure, traffic and public safety are daily concerns, and too often residents are left fighting their own Town Hall for answers. That has to change.
As your Town Councilman, I will fight to:

Protect our quality of life
by ensuring smart, responsible growth.

Prioritize public safety
by supporting and retaining first responders.

Promote transparency
so residents know what is happening in town government before it affects their neighborhoods.
